Auburn State Recreation Area includes hiking, river access, boating, fishing, camping, mountain biking, gold panning, limited hunting, equestrian/horseback riding trails and off-highway motorcycle riding.
Funny Farm Petting Zoo features a variety of miniature and small breed farm animals including bunnies, miniature horses, miniature donkeys, sheep, goats, miniature chipmunk pigs, alpaca, miniature cows and chickens.
The Gold Rush Museum features a mining tunnel, gold rush “Twitter wall,†many hands-on exhibits and an indoor panning stream that is wheelchair accessible.
Bernhard Museum is filled with artifacts and furnishings from a bygone era and will transports visitors to a simpler time. The Bernhard Museum also serves as home to the third grade Living History Program.
